Climate Conference: The Lost Decade? Planning The Future
We know the consequences of climate change, yet we do not act upon them. Since COP15 ten years ago, climate change has been on the political agenda but the level of CO2 emissions has not yet decreased.
28.02.2019 kl. 09.00 - 01.03.2019 kl. 18.00
How do we make sure that the next ten years will be different? What is the newest research that can help us create a green transition?
The purpose of this conference is to create an academic and societal setting where these questions can be discussed. The conference provides a forum for climate scholars, stakeholders and citizens to meet and share knowledge about the current challenges and new possibilities.
The conference will present a series of keynote speeches addressing the lost decade of climate change awareness and inaction. The keynotes will be followed by several panel discussions of the reasons and causes of the lost decade. Why and what went wrong? Turning to a more futureoriented perspective, a series of panel discussions will address the question of how to plan the future.
