From the 23-26 of August, Aalborg University and Grundfos will host the second joined Hackathon on innovative solutions for modern digital water supply. With a point of departure in real-life challenges presented by Grundfos, you will work in interdisciplinary teams providing creative and holistic solutions for the future.
Being involved in this event, you will get an opportunity to work together with an international company on real life problems experiencing the possibilities of working in interdisciplinary teams. The event is open for 6 th - 10th semester AAU students from all faculties at the University. The event will have a half-day introduction at CREATE AAU in Aalborg followed by three days of intensive teamwork at Grundfos Academy in Bjerringbro. This includes transportation, meals and a two-night stay at Grundfos Academy
As you will be working on actual and relevant cases from Grundfos, all participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to the event. Grundfos is looking for innovative and creative ideas and will have the opportunity to buy patent of an idea. On the last day of the event, the participating groups will present their findings and products for representatives from Grundfos and AAU. Beside, certificates for all participants, best idea and product will be awarded. There will be a maximum of 15 participants for this event and the organizing committee will choose from the assigned participants if needed to secure the broadest possible field of studies.
